Chiropractors
serve in the US Military
Doctors of Chiropractic are authorized to be commissioned as health care officers in the U.S. Armed Forces. In 2000, President Bill Clinton signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act. The law requires that all active duty personnel in all three service branches of the military stationed in the U.S. and overseas are to have access to Chiropractic care. A similar bill was signed into law in 2002, providing Chiropractic care for United States Armed Forces veterans.
